NEW UNIFORM

A

NEW VISION

I am very proud to present the College’s new school uniform collection.

It ushers in a new era of school attire that is comfortable, stylish and offers personal choice in support of our student’s individual daily requirements.

It also honours PLC’s rich heritage and the legacy of school uniforms across our history. The much-loved blue, black and gold school colours feature extensively and our Scottish heritage is celebrated through a natural modern evolution of the College tartan.

This impressive new transeasonal collection will enable our students to make decisions about what they want to wear and how they wish to wear it, all year round.

I am looking forward to seeing our students transition to the new uniform by 2025 in time to celebrate the College’s 150th Anniversary.

participating in those workshops.

They were so pleased to be asked about what they wanted in their uniform and they really felt that we listened to what they had to say.”

“The joy that the girls experienced throughout the process of developing their new uniform was tangible. They proudly shared their ideas and were excited that we were listening to what they had to say.”

Our new uniform collection represents the culmination of years of careful planning and many hours of thoughtful discussion.

Engaging a uniform designer who understood the needs of students from the Early Learning Centre through to the Senior School was paramount. As was identifying a uniform manufacturer who could realise those designs in a comfortable, stylish and sustainable way.

Our Uniform Committee, comprising students, parents, staff and alumnae, ensured voices from across our community would inform the design. Through extensive collaboration, their insights have helped shape a collection that will meet the needs of future generations of PLC students.
