Coach Jeff Zelenksi has been coaching with CARD for 5 seasons. Jeff grew

up with a father who coached basketball, and had the opportunity to play through college. He relays his extensive basketball knowledge by connecting with each player on his team, regardless of their skill level, to encourage their basketball development. Regardless of this teams skill level, Jeff shows unfaltering sportsmanship on the sideline and has a positive finesse in dealing with different situations that arise. Coach Zelenski takes pride in his practice plans to make sure each of his players reaches their potential during the season…and of course, has mandatory high fives on his teams!

Coach Lynnette Ford has been coaching with CARD for 2 seasons. She gives a “love of the game” by getting all of her players excited about basketball. Lynnette has a special gift for making sure that all of her players know that they are different, special, and have a crucial part on the team and the court. Coach Lynnette works hard on making sure everyone knows that hard work, dedication and teamwork can enhance their feelings of success not only on the basketball court but in life. Lynnette also remembers that the ultimate goal of the season is to not win, but to help her players grow as individuals and understand what they can achieve as a team.

League Movement Teams may be subject to move from their league of choice at the discretion of the Recreation Supervisor if it is deemed for the benefit of the CARD softball program. Prior history and records will be considered when it comes to league placement. Spring or Summer league champions MAY be moved up to a higher league for the subsequent season if also deemed appropriate and teams who struggle in a given league may also be moved down. The goal here is to facilitate proper league placement over the course of time, while teams may not consider themselves a “B” or “C” level team, they may be one of the top teams playing on that evening and it may be necessary that they play in that league
