In the past years, African Industries focused on the establishment of internal structures of governance in order to shift from a family operation to set up a structure managed professionally. Partnerships with international institutions of finance and global banks keep backing growth.


 These generators are provided by the Wartisila group and are able to provide additional power to the national grid in the near future.  Since natural gas of Nigeria is often exported or flared, the plant uses it. The supply of gas will originate from the Nigerian Gas Cooperation.  A gas station of the NGC is actually operational on site. The group provided the funds at the top of the worldwide economic crisis. The USD liquidity was limited in the country and commercial banks could not provide long term debt.


In order to offer independent and stable supply of electricity to the plant, the project includes also an independent gas fired power plant of 40 MW. Generators of high quality power the power plant.
