Rabbi Saperstein addresses the 2013 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
As our community Scholar-in-Residence, Rabbi Saperstein will discuss the relationship of religion in general and Judaism in particular to political issues. He will address the roots of Jewish social justice, a Jewish view on “just war theory,” and the use and abuse of religion in American elections, among many other topics.
Rabbi Saperstein will be in residence from January 30 through February 12, 2014 and will present twelve lectures throughout the community. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn from an expert about the relationship of Judaism to politics and social justice.
Saperstein has been described in a Washington Post profile as “the quintessential religious lobbyist on Capitol Hill.”
