Favorite trick ; I love to free ride in the mountains. Go up the mountains and find fresh powder to ride down in. About Snowkiting : I was born with skis ,like all the Norwegians. Sow when I stared kiting it was natural to start snow kiting. I started 10 years ago in Norway in the mountains in Hemsedal. Better SKM memorie : The best is all the nice days in cool. Its a beautiful place with the most amazing mountains. Also to meet all the people its really nice Projects : My dream is to start a small clothing brand. I hope this will be reality *one day....

WONDER KARI
I am Kari Schibevaag a kitesurfer from beautiful Norway . I have always loved to do sport and I started with 4 years old competing in skiing. After this I tried handball, Football, Swimming, Volleyball to mention some before I got in to kiting. In kite I have also tried all the disciplines. freestyle, race and waves in the water and also race and freestyle in the snow. I love the winter and the summer sow a year is not complete before I hade the 2 seasons. I am travelling all year around to beautiful places around the world. Doing camps, training, competing and only having fun with friends. I love my life and I would never change it. For sure sometimes when I am out there it’s hard to be alone and not see my family. But this just tell me that when I am ready to stop kiting I want to settle down home in Norway.

SKM The best event of the year
I have been doing the Snow Kite Masters for many years and I am always coming back. This is because it’s the best event of the year. I love the place, the people, the mountain, and the atmosphere there. I am getting older but I think you guys will have to handle me for some more years.
This year I did an amazing trip up north in Norway. It was the best trip of my life and I hope that I can go up there and continue this nice trip. Just snow kiting and kitesurfing in Cold Norway in the winter, but it was the best time of my life. I also want to do many more camp around the world, compete in the snow and waves and make some trips just to experience good conditions.

I love it booth and if you ask me what I prefer its hard for me to answer. I feel like its 2 different sports and I am happy that I can do booth. To kite up the mountains with sun and butiful wiev is amazing., and to skii down in powder is even better. But also to be on a beach with crystal clear water and nice waves

I love to design and make stuff sow this has been a dream since I was a little girl. Finally I am doing something with this dream. I have in total 7 world titles in the snow and water and for sure I am aiming for more. I love to compete and I love to be in the competitions. It was better before when you had all the disciplines in one tour and you could do all. Now you have to find out what you want becours its hard to do more then one discipline in the water. I am doing waves but I have to say it was more fun before when we hade all the riders together. Lets see what competions I will do next year.
