Bienvenidos Welcome It has been 10 years since I bought Dancinginxs. At that time it was a very small studio which had been functioning for seven years. The first of November of 2005, I made the promise that I would transform that little studio of 65 girls into one of the most prestigious studios in Miami. It was a time of great efforts and many challenges to meet. We have gradually achieved the goal we set for ourselves and now we have more than 200 students, a number of prizes, and above all, the recognition as a winner studio and a permanent badge of success. Dancinginxs has taken the family oriented course we wanted and our main concern will always be our students, our parents and of course the staff of teachers, who always committed to the studio and have encouraged us to channel our energies every day and become better individuals. A special thanks to my mother Nancy, who always concerned in order to keep things running impeccably. These 10 years of hard work and effort I owe all to you. Thank you to all my teachers whom are committed to their mission of transmitting their knowledge. Many of them have spent years in the studio, others a bit less, but all have become my friends, my family, and have made this studio what it really is today. Without all your visions, artistic creations and strength I would not be able to see so many dreams fulfilled. A special thanks to Patrick. 9 years at my side. The teacher that has been with us the longest. Thank you for your loyalty, love, and support at all times. I love you friend. Ya hace 10 años que compre Dancinginxs, un estudio muy pequeño en ese momento que llevaba funcionado 7 años. Ese Primero de Noviembre de 2005, me hice la promesa que iba a convertir ese estudio pequeñito de 65 niñas en uno de los estudios mas prestigiosos de Miami. Fue una etapa de grandes esfuerzos y muchos retos por cumplir. Poco a poco hemos logrado el cronograma que nos trazamos y ahora tenemos mas de 200 alumnos y cantidad de premios y sobretodo, reconocimientos que nos posicionan como un estudio ganador y una insignia permanente de éxitos. Dancinginxs ha tomado el rumbo de familiaridad que queríamos y nuestra principal preocupación siempre serán nuestros alúmnos, nuestros padres y desde luego el staff de profesores que siempre, comprometidos con el studio, nos han animado a entregar todas nuestras energías para ser cada día mejores. Especiales gracias a mi madre Nancy, siempre preocupada para que todo marche impecable. Ya son 10 años de mucho trabajo y esfuerzo que lo debo a tí. Gracias a mis profesores comprometidos en su misión de trasmitir sus conocimientos. Muchos de ellos llevan años en el estudio, otros no tanto, pero todos se han convertido en mis amigos, mi familia y han hecho de este estudio lo que realmente es hoy. Teachers ADRIANA NASSIFF
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Adriana received a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications and a Masters degree in Journalism. She commenced her dancing career with ballet and flamenco at the early age of five. Due to her family roots from Lebanon, she felt compelled to begin studies in Middle Eastern dance when she was 13 years old. Adriana moved from Colombia to Miami in 2001 and throughout the past 10 years, has strengthened her dance technique in varied forms of dance by participating in several National Belly Dance Shows and by attending a myriad of intensive courses and seminars. Prior to her move to the U.S., she was a member of the flamenco company “Triana,” in Colombia from 1999 to 2001. Continuing with her passion for dance, she auditioned and was chosen for the 2003 version of “Duende,” a Spanish ballet with the Florida Dance Festival, directed by the internationally accredited Rosa Mercedes. She has also participated in numerous activities within the cultural world, with Florida Grand Opera, Miss Hispanic International, Carnival Cruise, Univision, Hispanic Dance Festival in Mexico, such as being a guest on a Telemundo show, musical videos, commercials and Emilio Estefan Productions, amongst others. She is a Member of The Doral Business Council and the owner of Dancing Inxs since 2005. She is the new franchise owner on Kinderdance International for Miami Dade County.
VALERIE MOISE
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Valerie Moise also known as Raistalla, trained from the age of six in tap, ballet, jazz, and modern dance. Performing theme related recitals such Peter Pan, Cinderella, A Chorus Line, and West Side Story were all foundational experiences that cultivated her performance and love for musical theater dance. With her eyes set on fame and dancing on television, Valerie moved to LA right after high school to a pursue a career as a back up dancer in the Entertainment Industry. Over her thirteen year pursuit, Valerie worked and performed with artists like Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keyes, Outkast, Missy Elliot, Usher, Stevie Wonder and Prince to name a few. She has worked on various television shows, music videos, movies and commercials. Proud to have returned to her hometown, Valerie lends her gift of dance and experience to the next generation of super star dancers in South Florida. Jazz/Funk and Street/Funk are her specialty styles of dance. “I want to inspire dancers of all ages by teaching them charismatic choreography in which they can find their own expression.”
ASHLEY SANCHEZ
She is a International Latin Ballroom professional competitor/instructor. She was 2 time US Youth Latin Ballroom champion. Also, 3 time World Professional Amateur Latin Ballroom finalist. Trained by Canadian National Latin Ballroom Champions Andre and Natalia Paramonov, as well as Karina Smirnoff from ABC’s hit dance show Dancing with the Stars. She is a featured dancer in the Dancing with the Stars national tours. We are really happy to have Ashely this year in our staff.
MONICA VILLAR
Monica completed her classical ballet training at Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida, where she danced for 19 years under the direction of Susana Prieto. As a child she danced on her school dance teams, winning numerous state and national awards, and later danced with the company at Miami Dade College. Monica went on to become a principal soloist at Ballet Etudes, taking on roles such as Clara in the Nutcracker, Pas de Trois in Sleeping Beauty and a soloist in Verdi’s The Seasons. She was also featured in several dances with the Dance Theater of Miami, under the direction of Patricio Suarez. Monica has been coaching and working with several schools in the area for the past 10 years, choreographing competition routines and teaching Master classes. She graduated from Miami Dade College in 2008 with an Associate’s degree in Dance and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2011 from Florida International University, with a minor in Education. She is now completing her 3rd year as dance program director at Henry H. Filer Middle School, where she sponsors the cheer and dance teams, and serves as the school’s Activities Director.
PATRICIO SUAREZ
Graduated from New York University with a Masters degree in Higher Education and Administration with emphasis in Dance Education & Performance. He received his Bachelors degree from Florida International University after attending New World School of the Arts. He is the Artistic Director and Founder of Dance Theater of Miami and presently an Administrator at Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @ Zelda Glazer. Patricio is also the President of the Dade Association of Dance Educators here in Miami, Florida. Patricio’s best creation was becoming a father on September of 2012 to a beautiful daughter, Mila. He would like to thank his parents for their unconditional love and support. This is his 9th recital with Dancing Inxs as the Director/Coach of the Junior & Senior Teams. ALBERTO PENA JR.
Has been an active and passionate dancer for ten years, throughout which his love and technique have both grown simultaneously and in direct correlation of one another. During his career, he has danced professionally for Ballet Etudes of South Florida, Dance Theatre of Miami, DJB Dance Theatre, Royal Caribbean International and most recently for the Florida Grand Opera. Alberto’s work holds several national titles for his choreographies at Dancing Inxs. He earned his Associate Degree in Dance from Miami Dade College, where he also danced for the schools, “Jubilation Dance Ensemble.” Alberto graduated from New World School of the Arts where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance and plans to pursue a lifetime of learning and artistic expression through the medium of dance.
DAISY VILORIA
Daisy was born on December 4, 1991 in Caracas, Venezuela. She began her dance training at the young age of six with ballet classes, flamenco and Venezuelan folklore. She then progressed to modern and urban dance as well as Hip Hop, Jazz Funk and Break Dancing. Then she worked with Venezuelan artists/duets/singers as a choreographer and dancer in many states of the country and different shows. Since 2010, Daisy has continued to improve her dance technique by becoming a valuable team member of the Senior dance team at Dancing Inxs, attending various workshops; The Pulse and Jump as well as by competing at varied local and National Dance competitions. In 2011 she was chosen as a Miami Heat Dancer. Now she is a dance instructor of Hip Hop, Jazz II, Ballet and Acro-Jazz at Dancing Inxs since 2012. Also in the beginning of 2013 she participated as a backup dancer for the Florida Grand Opera’s production “ The Magic Flute” at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and The Broward Center for the Performing Arts. She was part of the staff in several tv shows as a backup dancer at Univision and Telemundo, she has truly enjoyed all of her dance experiences, especially most recently that she went to New York to take classes in “Dance Awards 2014” convention. This is all thanks to her hard work, dedication and passion for dance.
CAROLINA MENDOZA
Carolina has been a former student of Dancing in Xs for more than 13 years, in all dance styles, including Flamenco, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Belly dance, Hip Hop and Ballroom. At the age of 17, she had already performed professionally for the Florida Grand Opera during the 2011/2012 season, as a dancer for the Zarzuela “Luisa Fernanda”. Since 2009, she has participated in several Dance Conventions such as Jump, Velocity, Intrigue, Turn it Up, Doug and Friends (LA ) and Dance Awards (NY-Las Vegas), being awarded scholarships and the title of one of the Best Dancers for the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Season ( VIP Senior finalist). At the moment, Carolina is studying at New World School of the Arts in order to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts under her full tuition scholarship. Her most recent performance as a college dancer was under the direction of New York City’s Ballet Hispanico in “Asuka” dancing two duets in the piece. She is also currently working as a teacher at Dancing in XS and is doing dance work for various artists. YOVANA GOMEZ
She was born in Havana, Cuba in 1963. At only 6 years old she began to train gymnastics and she was even part of the National Team. In 1992, she received a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education, with specialization in sports and children with problems. She also attended different classes in Havana, Berlin, and Spain. She has worked as a athletic and ballet trainer for more than 20 years in sports and dance studios. Additionally, she worked with autistic and deficit motor development children. Since 2006, she lives in the USA working as a gymnastics trainer and with children with different problems. She is happy to be part of our family.
Guest Teachers YESENIA LAUZURIQUE
Yesenia Lauzurique is an award-winning Middle-Eastern dance instructor with over eight years of teaching experience. She attained her instructor certification from Belly Motions, Inc. and has since built a a positive reputation for her choreography talents. She is currently the founder and director of the Belly Motions TEENS program, the director and choreographer of the Arabian Roses belly dance ensemble, and the choreographer of Oriental Fusion at Dancing inXS.
MARIA DEL CARMEN PEDROSA
Coach Maruchy (Maria del Carmen) started Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of 3 in her birth country,Cuba. She continued on to the Junior National Pre-selection, where she competed nationally & internationally. In 1995, she received a bachelor’s degree with gold title at the Higher Institute of Physical Culture. Ms. Maruchy has been coaching Rhythmic Gymnastics with starting children to high performance. She has had athletes that went on to National Preselections in Cuba to compete. With her accredited bachelor degree in Physical Education in the U.S. and her ballet Dancer Certification’s she is a great asset to our teacher’s Team. She loves to teach, dance , Rhythmic Gym and enjoys working in a team environment to achieve outstanding results for the kids.
GERTRUDIS GARCIA
Gertrudis García González of Cuban nationality, born on November 16, 1985. She began her studies at the age of ten years in the vocational art school specializing in Ballet. She continued her middle level studies at the National Arts School, with pre-professional practices in the National Ballet of Cuba, under the direction of the first ballerina Alicia Alonso, graduating with outstanding results of Dancer - Ballet teacher. During that time, she danced in the company. Once graduated, She started her working life in the Ballet of Cuban Television where was evaluated as a dancer of television in 2006. In this company, she participated in several programs and musical comedies. In the year 2007 and up to the year 2011 she was in Japan by contract of employment at Academy “Hermes Dance Company” where in addition to dance with the company taught Ballet, Belly Dance classes, Latin dance. Currently She teach Ballet in the city of Miami and give all her best to her students to make discipline, self-improvement and great love for dance.
ODAYMIS PEREZ-ROURA
Odaymis’ passion for dance began at the age of four when she took her first ballet class at Mirochnik Ballet. She spent the next few years studying ballet at Mirochnik under the direction of Madelyn Alfonso. When Mirochnik Ballet closed, she went to dance for Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida under the direction of Susana Prieto. During her time at Ballet Etudes she performed in The Nutcracker every year, as well as Giselle, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty, amongst other well-known ballets performed at the Jackie Gleason. It was a wonderful experience she will never forget. She also danced at Dance Attack and performed at competitions nationwide. There she studied jazz, lyrical, hip hop and modern dance from Cookie Ramos and John Culbertson. It was at Dance Attack that she was able to expand on her ballet foundation and diversify her dance training. In 2008, she auditioned to become a Miami Heat dancer and was selected. She was a member of the squad from 2008 until 2011 and was voted Hottest Heat Dancer of All Time in 2009. She believes dancing for the Miami Heat was a wonderful experience that allowed her to grow into a better performer and provided
ZEDRIC BEMBRY
Zedric is the inspiration behind Live in Color, a culturally diverse dance company. Through his jazzy, cutting edge, energetic footwork, arm throwing and high stepping style, Bembry has brought flavor to the hip hop industry creating a new dance rave all his own, “Urban Funk.” This new dance encompasses a variety of techniques, combining a touch of jazz, a pinch of ballet, a twist of merengue, a dab of popping and locking, an abundance of street dance and a sprinkle of acrobatics. Live in Color has also performed on MTV’s VMA’s, Latin MTV VMAs and was the winner of the ABC’s national hit show “Dance Fever.” Bembry finds time to show young people positive alternatives in life. He teaches them to express themselves through the art of hip hop, and works with many at risk teens who can relate to his energetic dance style. We are thankful to have Zedric at Dancing Inxs and hope to keep working with him in the future.

Karin is a twenty-one year old aspiring student currently attending Florida Gulf Coast University where she’s seeking her Bachelor Degree in Resort and Hospitality management focusing on event management with a minor in business. Rodriguez began the life of a dancer at three years old and started with Dancing In XS at the age of four. Since then she has been apart of the studio thought out the years, nowadays she is the Assistant Manager. If she can explain life in a quote she would say: “That which doesn’t kill us only makes us strong”. In her eyes this quote can range anywhere from the heart of a dancer to the motivation of a student.

Monica Molina, is currently a student at the University of Central Florida, pursuing a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences. She began dancing at Dancing inXS and ended her competitive dance career in the 2011-2012 year. Her passion has always been dance and she continues to work on it now with a focus in Belly Dance. She truly enjoys continuing her roll as a Dancing inXS member on and off stage, and is looking forward to another great year !

NATALI RODRIGUEZ Después de 9 años que cada vez que termino un recital, abro mi página del programa a ver que me escribió mi familia, pero este año, decidí invertir las cosas. Esta vez soy yo la que les está escribiendo a ustedes, porque es lo mínimo que puedo hacer para darle las gracias por los mejores años de mi vida en los que me permitieron descubrir y seguir mi pasión por el baile. Es mas que difícil tener que dejar mi segundo hogar después de tanto tiempo que llevo aquí, pero al irme me llevo en mi corazón todo lo que DancingInXs me dio y me enseño.
