n junio se celebró el Día Mundial del Océano. El Hotel La Cusinga Lodge, como parte de la responsabilidad socio-ambiental, organizó una jornada de limpieza de playa con niños de la Escuela La Flor de Bahía, con la meta de incentivar a futuras generaciones en la conservación de los recursos marino-costeros de Costa Ballena. Una mañana soleada, acompañada de la cálida brisa de las aguas del Parque Marino Ballena, fueron los anfitriones para lograr la meta de contribuir en la salvación del mar, cuidar Playa Arco conservándola limpia y natural para el futuro. Los niños aprendieron sobre la importancia del mar, disfrutaron y conocieron la ecología de la zona, aportando un granito de arena para preservar el patrimonio de la comunidad, las playas y el océano de Costa Ballena. n

n June, the World Ocean Day was celebrated. Hotel La Cusinga Lodge organized a beach cleanup with the help of the children from the Flor de Bahía School as part of their socio-environmental responsibility. The goal was to engage future generations in the conservation of the coastal and marine resources of Costa Ballena. A sunny morning, accompanied by the warm breeze from the waters of Ballena Marine Park were the host, helping to reach the goal of saving the ocean, and keeping Playa Arco clean and natural for the future. The children learned about the importance of the sea, while they enjoyed and learned the ecology of the area, contributing to the preservation of the heritage of the community, and the beaches of Costa Ballena. n
