Teen Acting, Improv & Sketch Comedy Course will focus on finding the funny in the scene rather than trying to be funny. You don’t have to be a natural born comedian to be successful in this class. This handson approach is designed to introduce students to the fundamental principles of improvisational performance. To understand comedy is to understand acting. The exercises taught will enable students to improve their stage presence, sense of comedic timing, and ability to create trust onstage with their fellow actors. Fee: $80 Res. / $95 Non-Res. Lunch Box Program The Teen T.E.A.M. Lunch Box program will be hitting Peoria and Sunrise Mountain High Schools once a week during lunch time with hit music, entertainment and activities to break the daily classroom routine.

Xtreme Adventure Course Join the Xtreme Teen program in beautiful Flagstaff Arizona. Walk an obstacle course 50 feet in the air. Trip includes supervision, transportation and admission into the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course. Arizona Snowbowl Turn-around Trip Join the Teen TEAM on an amazing snowboard trip to Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff. Trip includes transportation, supervision, lift ticket, a morning 2 hour group lesson, and breakfast. Upon registration, more info will be emailed out regarding what to bring, where to rent gear, etc. We will meet at the Rio Vista Recreation Center at 5 a.m. and will return by 8 p.m. Fee $75 Res. / $90 Non-Res. Spring Break River Rafting Trip Teens Only. Unbelievable opportunity to go whitewater rafting on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon from Diamond Creek down to Lake Mead. Participants will man, where each person helps to move the boat downstream. A motor raft accompanies the trip for support and to carry equipment. Hiking, games, mud fights, sleeping under the stars . . . oh yea and don’t forget those whitewater rapids, will be the highlights of the trip. Limited to 20 participants.
