PENN MUSEUM VISIONARIES

Envisioning Our Future

Penn Museum Visionaries is the Museum’s brand-new premier membership program.

The name of this new recognition program speaks to our belief in the Museum’s power to inspire the next generation of scholars and foster a more understanding and equitable world. Through their philanthropy, Visionaries demonstrate a remarkable commitment to the care of the Museum’s art and artifacts and the communities we serve.

Invest in the Future Visionaries invest in education to inspire the next generation of scholars, critical thinkers, community advocates, and change makers. Programs like Unpacking the Past, our signature partnership with the School District of Philadelphia, serve over 6,000 middle school students each year.

Preserve History The Museum’s collection helps tell our shared human story. Your support enables us to conserve art and artifacts that teach us about the resolve and ingenuity of our ancestors and inspire us to work toward a more compassionate and understanding society.

Inspire Change Your generosity helps promote important social justice initiatives, like paid summer internships that help to create a more equitable world and diversify the stories told in the Museum.

Engage the Community We are working to be the Museum the community needs and wants us to be. Your philanthropy gives us the resources to strengthen our public engagement programming to ensure we are a place for all.

Visionaries play a crucial role in what happens at the Museum every day.

Visionaries are the Museum’s most generous members and annual fund donors giving $2,500 or more in essential unrestricted support. Members receive a personalized experience and events that bring them up-close with the Museum’s extraordinary collection and research. We hope you will join us in our next chapter and become a charter member of the Penn Museum Visionaries.
