Welcome to the 76th
Jefferson County Fair See what Jefferson County residents have grown, sewn, baked and created for all to admire at the county’s 76th fair. The fair offers entertainment for the entire family, with exhibitors, vendors, entertainment and plenty of activities.
Fair Hours
• Friday, Aug. 9: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. • Saturday, Aug. 10: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. • Sunday, Aug. 11: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend any of the prefair events Monday through Thursday. There is no admission cost for pre-fair events. For everyone’s safety, please leave your pets and companion animals at home. No pets are allowed on the fairgrounds (except service animals). Anyone found with a pet will be asked to leave without a refund. Additionally, no bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, illicit drugs or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the fairgrounds. Parking is free.

Season Tickets
Three-day tickets include admission to each day of the fair, all entertainment and the Sunday beef barbecue (a $26 value). Cost is $13 for tickets purchased before Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. After that date, tickets are available at the fair for $15. Season tickets may be purchased in Port Townsend at the Jefferson County Fair Office, Bank of America, Don’s Pharmacy, Penny Saver, Port Townsend Senior Center, Port Townsend Paper Company, QFC and Safeway. They are available in the Tri-Area at Hadlock Building Supply, QFC, Chimacum Chevron, CHS and The Big Pig Thrift Store.

The Gothard Sisters Small Stage Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Gothard Sisters are a dynamic Irish music and dance group from the Pacific Northwest. The three sisters perform and record new Celtic arrangements of well-known, traditional tunes and popular songs, as well as their own original compositions. As champion Irish dancers, they include the visual elements and exciting rhythms of Irish step dancing into tightly choreographed, high-energy variety shows.

If you’ve ever wanted to walk on water, now is your chance! For just $5, you can experience the “Water Balls.” Climb inside a six-foot diameter, watertight plastic sphere and try to cartwheel, flip, bounce, crawl or simply stand (which is more difficult than it sounds)! This activity is fun for everyone! Participants from as young as 6 months and even 93 years old can try it. (You just have to be less than 400 pounds.)
