1
My Family are
“Suea Noi” was a tabby cat with fluffy hair.
As a family pet, he lived with the other four family members. Everyone loved him.
2

Dad liked to cuddle him.

Mum liked to pat his head.

Little Brother liked to peck him.

Big Sister liked to gently scratch his chin. Their treats made him happy.

3

But Suea Noi was not always adorable. Sometimes, he was self-willed. He refused to come when someone called him.

After having meals, he slept away and did not want to play with anyone.

4

Sometimes, Suea Noi was grumpy. He scratched Little Brother with his sharp nails and made him cry. Sometimes, he scratched up things until they were finally damaged. Dad was really upset.

5

One morning, Suea Noi woke up because of the sweet little voice, “Miaow…miaow..”

A little calico cat miaowed to call her mother. She ran around Suea Noi as she thought Suea Noi was her mother.

6

Dad told him that this little cat had no parents, and she was left alone in front of a convenience store.

Dad then took her home and named her “Seven”.

“Suea Noi, help me take care of her,” said Dad.

7

Seven liked to follow Suea Noi around.

8

When Suea Noi was sleeping, Seven usually disturbed him.

That’s why Suea Noi did not like Seven, and often spent his time sleeping alone.

9

But everyone in the family liked to play with Seven because she was clingy.

10

Mum liked to pat her head.

Dad liked to cuddle her.

Little Brother liked to peck her.

Big Sister liked to gently scratch her chin.

Their treats made her happy.

11

Everyone enjoyed playing with Seven. This made Suea Noi sad and lonely. So Suea Noi went out of the house.

12

Suea Noi climbed up a tree, chased birds and greeted other cats.

He enjoyed spending his time outside and decided not to go back home.

13
When the family members realised they had not seen Suea Noi, they went out to find him.
14

“Where is Suea Noi?” asked Big Sister.

Everyone in the family was getting worried.

15

The night was approaching. There was no sign that Suea Noi would come back home.

“It’s already dark. Suea Noi must be very hungry.”

Little Brother cried because he was worried about him.

16
17

Up on the roof, Suea Noi lay down and watched what had happened. He realised how much everyone in the family cared about him.

18

So he jumped down from the roof and walked towards them. “Suea Noi is back,” Mum cried out with delight.

19
20

They all ran towards him with gladness.

Dad held him in his arms. Mum patted his head.

Little Brother pecked him, and Big Sister scratched his chin with love. These treats made him the happiest.

21

Seven also ran to him and delightedly licked his face.

22
23

Hey guys!

Please understand me.

After his children have adopted two cats, Akarapol becomes a cat lover. The love-hate relationship between the two cats – Suea Noi and Seven inspired him to share their stories filled with joy and happiness to all readers.

Chananya illustrated this storybook with fun and determination.

After having spent time with the stories of Suea Noi and Seven, she finally had a clear picture of two distinctive personalities of the two cats which came to life in their first storybook.

‘Chin up and leave the sadness alone!’ Nothing could bother Suea Noi as he was extremely self-willed. Until one day…he realised the true love from his family members.
Everyone loves me, that’s for sure.
