Welcome to the longest running Annual female sale in Canada. This is the 38th sale with the slogan a “Tradition of Excellence and Value”. Over the past 37 sales, quality cattle from quality people have always been the goal and this year is no different. The seven consignors in this year’s Sterling Collection sale have once again given you cattle from the heart of their operations. Everything from proven producing females, to solid bred heifers, with lots of potential, to some fancy show prospect heifer calves, can be found here. The cattle in this offering are from the top end replacements of over 800 cows, so you know there is depth of quality here.
The consignors are active in provincial Charolais boards and get out and promote their programs and the Charolais breed at the fall shows and sales. These are long term breeders with quality herds built over time.
The Charolais business is expanding with unprecedented bull sales this past spring and increased demand for next spring already showing. The opportunities in the Charolais breed are endless and you will never go wrong buying from sales and breeders like these. Quality cattle never cost and so many cattle out of this sale, over the years, have gone on to out produce themselves time and again.

Brett Grieve won Grand Champion Female with SKW Popcorn 109C in the Mixed Breed Class at the Manitoba Youth Beef Roundup. She was purchased out of the 2015 Sterling Collection sale. Horseshoe E Charolais females from previous Sterling Collection sales have proven that they work! Pro-Char purchased LAE 314A out of the Sterling Sale and she raised the high-selling $35,000 bull in their 2017 bull sale. Johnson Charolais also purchased a female from Horseshoe E Charolais at the Sterling, and she went on to raise a member of their Grand Champion Pen of Three Bulls, who was a top seller for them in 2017

She is as long made as they come, with plenty of neck extension and is setting down a beautiful udder. Sweet Cream and her mother were Reserve Champion Cow Heifer calf pair at the 2016 MCA Picnic. Her granddam was in our transplant program. This cow family is an extremely consistent producing family that always turns in top calves in the fall. We think her mating to Zeal for an early calf will prove to be very profitable.
