BRIEF TITLE:

D&AD Annual Report 2011/12 The Brief Produce an annual report for D&AD 2011/12. The publication must work across both screen and printed medias.

Background Document, inform and entertain. Tell the story of D&AD from 2011, focusing on both digital and print publication. 2011 was the most eco friendly publication so far. 50 years of D&AD awards.

Considerations The following questions should inform your design direction: • What makes this year of D&AD unique and how do you communicate this through the selection, organisation and communication of content? • What is the underlying visual concept and why is it appropriate, innovative and current? • The message is what? • Who will want to know and how will they find out? Practical Considerations

Mandatory Requirements The brand guidelines are sent through a pdf. The pantones and layout and logo have to be the same as the guidleines.

Deliverables

What production processes, stock decisions and colour options will best support the communication of your concept.

Produce a D&AD annual report 2011/12 for both screen and printed medias and show the difference of both medias.

What additional formats could you use (both print & digital). What other deliverables can you propose?
