Property is an experimental typeface family influenced by African symbolic mark making. The typeface started off with the Property regular which was then changed to Property Light and then created the font into a two style font family, due to the end of the stems which were originally round, were cut off to also give it a bold flat stemmed typeface, Property Flat. The full family now includes; - Property Regular - Property Light - Property Flat Bold - Property Flat Regular The typeface is called Property referring to the idea of African symbols painted on clay and sand which are making a mark that they can call there own. The name Property shows off a good range of characters and gives it strong authority.

The designer of the Property typeface is Paul Brandreth, a Leeds based Graphic Designer.
