Queridos padres de familia:

¡Cuántas buenas noticias hemos recibido en estos meses! Nuestro proyecto educativo está diseñado para que las alumnas se preparen con un alto nivel académico y, además, desarrollen habilidades que les den seguridad y confianza para poder desenvolverse en todos los ambientes. Hemos sido testigos del entusiasmo de las alumnas por participar en diferentes concursos académicos, artísticos y deportivos; internos e intercolegiales; nacionales e internacionales en los que han podido destacarse y alcanzar los primeros lugares de las competencias.

Siguiendo con el enfoque de generar un aprendizaje significativo, volvieron los Delta´s Fun Labs. Espacios creados para explorar, conocer y experimentar diversas temáticas y, ¡Para divertirse mientras aprenden!

Tuvimos una exitosa Feria de Universidades. Más de cuarenta alternativas de Ecuador y del mundo para que nuestras alumnas puedan elegir la que más se ajuste al camino que quieran seguir para cumplir sus sueños.

Nuestra querida Promo XXIII vivió la Serenata a la Virgen y la Ceremonia del Juramento a la Bandera. Con esto empiezan la última etapa de su paso por el colegio. ¡Las acompañamos con mucho cariño!

En esta edición podrán ver las demás actividades realizadas en el colegio y los perfiles de nuestras exalumnas que están emprendiendo y generando cambios positivos en la sociedad. Muchas de ellas están volviendo al Delta para inspirar a nuevas generaciones a también ser parte de esta transformación del mundo en uno más humano, justo y solidario. ¡No dejen de verlas!

Our students were able to practice their writing skills, explore their emotions and be creative in our Poetry Contest! It is amazing to see how much passion and imagination can be put into words. We are so proud with the work they have done and we are excited to see how far their creative minds will go!

Presented with two topics to choose from, our students put their investigation, critical thinking and presentation skills to the test. In our Internal Persuasive Speech Contest confidence and communication were key elements and they completely amazed us! Congratulations to our winners and keep up the great work!

A friendly competitive spirit and peers supporting each other was the tone for this amazing contest! During the middle school Spelling Bee, our spellers put their memory and English skills to the test. They completely amazed the audience and created an intense competition! Congratulations to our top spellers, the winners of each level, and the teachers that helped during their preparation!

La escultura del Delta “Unir para trascender” logró representar nuestras acciones para contribuir al objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible #2 Hambre Cero y… ¡Ganamos!. Las alumnas pusieron en práctica habilidades administrativas como: planificación, organización y autogestión, pero sobre todo creatividad y servicio. ¡Gracias a todas las familias que nos ayudaron a recolectar 9144 latas para ser donadas al Banco de Alimentos!

We celebrate the achievements of our artists in international competitions. Congratulations Isabella and Akemi! They showed that many hours of rehearsal, effort, perseverance and talent are necessary to achieve objectives. Well done!

The United Nations team members participated in PANAMUN XXX, Panama. During their visit they met Japanese Ambassador Hideo Fukushima, who explained Japan’s position in Global Issues. Additionally, students were able to visit the UN offices where UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA area coordinators presented various programs oriented to achieve the SDGs in the country.

As part of the Global Schools Program, our aim is to educate students about the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Our 8th and 11th graders will be working collaboratively in the Climate Action Project 2022.

During these weeks, students will develop their research skills, leadership, critical thinking and creativity in helping achieve the SDG13 Climate Action.

Idea original, varias horas de ensayo, mucho talento… ¡Y una puesta en escena impecable! Nuestras alumnas del coro emocionaron a padres y profes con este musical que transmitía un mensaje de servicio, generosidad y esperanza.

En arte, las alumnas demostraron los contenidos aprendidos en proyectos que fomentan la reflexión y la expresión oral. Lo combinaron con investigación, indagación y creatividad.

En el Delta fomentamos un ambiente de compañerismo y, en algunas ocasiones, las más grandes enseñan a las más pequeñas a ser buenas amigas.
