40065—ENGLISH IVY. English ivy is a vigorous, aggressive, fast-growing, evergreen, woody perennial that is primarily grown as a climbing vine or trailing ground cover. Over time, it may aggressively spread to as much as 100’ in length. 97725— ANNE MARIE IVY. Rugged enough to stand up to light foot traffic, this variegated ivy doesn’t spread as quickly as English varieties. The 2½-inch leaves are edged in white and very showy, and need part shade south of zone 6. Very tolerant of heat, humidity, and drought. Z 5-10.
40069— NEEDLEPOINT IVY. (Syn. Birdsfoot Ivy.) Veined in ivory, these deeply lobed evergreen leaves are just 1/3 the size of other English Ivies. This clinging vine climbs walls and trails gracefully from baskets and planters. If planted in the garden, it spreads very vigorously, rooting along the way. Best in partial to full shade, but tolerates sun if kept well watered. Z 3-10. 72705—DWARF JUNIPER NANA. A densely branched, well-adapted evergreen, this groundhugging tree sets blue-green foliage in full sun to part shade. Resistant to disease and pests (including deer), it is superb for erosion control, shaping into topiary, or specimen use in the rock garden. Expect it to reach 1 foot tall and 6 feet wide, with growth radiating outwards from the central stem. Z 4-9. 20517—BLUE STAR CREEPER. (Laurentia fluviatilis) A fabulous lawn substitute, this dense perennial blooms from spring until frost. Tiny green leaves are evergreen in warm climates on plants just 3 inches high but up to 24 inches wide. Let it meander among pavers or rocks, spill from containers, and fill in bare spots. Z 5-9.
