5&33 is a kitchen, bar, library, lounge and art gallery located in the heart of Amsterdam. Design, art, culture, passion, ambiance and cuisine are fused together to create 5&33. With five distinct zones to eat, drink, dance and meet, 5&33 has something for everyone. 5&33 offers a casual, shareddining concept with a menu of fresh, honest food – inspired by the flavours of the wider Mediterranean and our cocktails are made using our own spice blends and syrups.
The 5&33 gallery offers a unique artistic environment for you to meet or host an event or party for up to 250 people. Located within art’otel amsterdam, the first of a new generation of art’otels which opened in October 2013, the work of Atelier Van Lieshout permeates every corner of the 107 bedroom 5-star hotel. We are located on the corner of Martelaarsgracht and Prins Hendrikkade, a very short walk from Centraal Station.
5&33 Gallery The ultimate artistic venue for your fashion show or product launch.
Our 300 square metre gallery is a multipurpose creative space which has a cultural programme showcasing different artists and photographers within the space itself. Every 2 months the gallery showcases the work of artists and creatives, which have included: Atelier Van Lieshout, Jacob Van Rozelaar and Marian Bloem. Our ground-breaking interactive art-curtain was realised through a partnership with creative innovations studio, Present Plus, and displays a constantly evolving wall of art, visible from the gallery, bar, library and kitchen. It is one of the largest permanent interactive installations in Europe and spans 12m x 6m and hangs over two storeys.
The gallery is a flexible space which is unique to all of Amsterdam and allows you to organise a show-stopping event, for up to 250 people, which embraces the art within the venue or simply a more inspirational meeting space to motivate your teams or impress your clients. The team at 5&33 are as flexible as the space itself and everything is possible.

For those looking for an intimate or informal space to have a meeting, cocktail workshop or are simply looking for a new place to take a client to breakfast, lunch or dinner, look no further than 5&33. The open kitchen allows you to watch our team of talented chefs create some mouth-watering sharing dishes; braised ox cheeks, seabass ravioli, burrata and zucchini fritti all await. The artwork of Atelier Van Lieshout is prominent throughout and the art-curtain spans across the bar, library and kitchen space.
Consistently reviewed by Couverts.nl diners as one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam, 5&33 offers a casual, shareddining concept with a menu of fresh, honest food – inspired by the flavours of the wider Mediterranean. 5&33 is open for breakfast from 6.30am – 11.00am, seven days a week, and the all-day kitchen menu is available from 12.00pm onwards. Personalised cocktail workshops at the bar, wine workshops in the lounge or large dinner events can all be arranged on request, led by some of the best bartenders in Amsterdam.

All our menus offer a flavour of the wider Mediterranean and can be tailored to every event. We specialise in sharing dishes, so you can try a wide variety of dishes. From morning, throughout the day and to late at night, we have menus to suit everyone. Choose from our bite-size menus, which are for events where people are invited to stand and mingle throughout the space to our feast menus, created for seated diners to share.

How to find us 5&33 is situated in an iconic building, on the corner of Prins Hendrikkade and Martelaarsgracht, in the heart of the city of Amsterdam with the city’s top cultural attractions on its doorstep. With Centraal Station directly opposite the venue, the easiest way to visit 5&33 is by public transport.
Centraal Station can be accessed by train, bus, tram and metro. Exit Centraal Station at the front side and you’ll find 5&33 and art’otel amsterdam a one minute walk away. From Schiphol airport a train to Centraal Station leaves every 7 minutes from platform 3. A single ticket will cost approximately €3,90.
