PAPER EMPIRE AUSTRALIA Started in 2013 by Therese O’Donoghue, the concept was simple: bring talented artists to the Australian public. From the beginning Therese has worked with her husband Stefan Gevers, one of the artists represented by Paper Empire, to introduce local & international artists to the Australian market. “We are passionate about the authenticity of the art and making it easy for people to connect with it.” “Wherever we can we print or manufacture the artworks in Australia or collaborate with local craftspeople on art projects we find the result is outstanding. ” “Creating signed limited-edition prints, art prints or by representing skilled designers, our aim is always the same. To offer an affordable, easily collectable, beautiful & well-crafted work for the home or commercial space.” The collection is deliberately diverse with new styles, genres and themes being added regularly in a creative response to trends in art and design. From children’s wall art, large-scale artworks, lighting and design books, always expect a surprise. Paper Empire’s artists win awards and are internationally recognised and collected. Stefan Gevers’ work appears in major collections such as the State Library of Victoria, Artbank and NAB. Studio Snowpuppe has won the Design Innovation Award in 2015 Maison Objet. And A Mile in the Woods was commissioned by design house Bo Concept to develop exclusive art works for their stores. This new photographic series by Foto Factory is a captivating series of Danish & Scottish land & seascapes by photo artists Maria and Martin Bay. WHO We wholesale all our ranges to retail & some online stores as well as offer trade pricing for approved customers. Trade customers may also apply for wholesale pricing on larger orders. HOW Paper Empire Aust. make over 80% of their ranges in Australia. We select premium grade materials & work with great local manufacturers & printers. Variance in colour, finish or supply may occur as a natural part of the production process. Care is taken to reproduce all images as they appear but responsibility can not be taken for any reproduction variation.
