Institutional Stove project accomplishments through march 2012 Development Phase – pre-2011

aDesigned, built and distributed 50 prototype stoves aPerfected unique precision production methods aDeveloped “Factory-In-A-Box” production and distribution concept aCompleted a school feeding pilot project in Nigeria aPresented at the United Nations “SAFE” initiative in Rome aShipped stoves for demonstration projects in six developing countries: Haiti, Vanuatu, Nigeria, Uganda, Guatemala and Honduras Initial production year - 2011

 Trained manufacturing team and produced 320 stoves in our Oregon factory  Fulfilled U.N. World Food Programme (WFP) contract on time and on budget for 200 stoves to serve 80,000100,000 children in school feeding programs  Completed U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) contract for 60 stoves on time and on budget to serve populations in 10 different refugee camps; conducted trainings for 100 cooks and UNHCR personnel on how to use stove under field conditions  Completed pilot project in Timor-Leste (East Timor)  Shipped stoves to seven additional developing countries: Cameroon, East Timor, Chad, Liberia, Darfur, Sudan and Ethiopia  Developed prototype innovative biomass briquette press and successfully tested briquettes in 60 liter stove  Reviewed in-field performance of 60 liter stoves being used in the pilot project in Bida, Nigeria  Organized volunteer staff to begin fundraising, media, and marketing initiatives  Began testing and marketing the 60 liter stove-powered autoclave for sterilizing hospital instruments and medical waste Current year - 2012  

Developed a 100 liter stove prototype – production is anticipated to begin this year Planning a multi-agency demonstration of the 60 liter stove and autoclave in Nairobi, Kenya
