Our 2007 Report,The Panhandle Imperative: Economic Implications of Educational Attainment in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle, was created over an almost year-long community study that involved hundreds of community members and dozens of institutions and organizations in our city, region, and state. Experts presented over the course of the year, and community conversations helped create action steps, many of which have been put into place in our region and are still ongoing. The ripple effects of this effort are still spreading positive change across our community.
