The SRX works on one survey job (file) at a time, unless a second job has been designated as a control job. This way, points can have identical names as long as they are in different job files. Some settings, notably instrument settings, are remembered from job to job, so it is unnecessary to set them for each new job.

Creating a New Job You can create as many jobs as required. 1.
NOTE
If no jobs are available in the SRX, the Create Job screen appears when you select Job from the Functions menu.

SRX
Select the Job option from the Functions menu (see Section 3.4, Using the Graphical View, Page 3-3). The Select Job screen displays.
Press [New] to display the Create Job screen.
