1 Introduction BIKE has always been a popular means of transport among teenagers. Lately, its use has been increased not only as a recreation or professional sport but also as a great way to get to school/work or get around the town. Using the Bike is an increasingly powerful method for reducing carbon emissions, implementing sustainability and improving a healthier and kinetic life style. The recent growth in European cycling has also brought innovative business opportunities, many of which can be grasped by young entrepreneurs. Bike impact on popular European culture and art is also explored and presented.

1.1 Aims of the Project To encourage a healthy kinetic lifestyle among teenagers and to promote sustainability. To develop knowledge of European countries, cultures, mentalities and habits. The project also aims to provide the motivation needed for Innovative BIKE entrepreneurship by increasing the sense of personal initiative and self-growth. To improve English language skills by communicating with other partners in order to investigate the use of bikes throughout history and exchange findings and ideas. Teachers will learn from each other, develop their creativity by designing new activities and improve their ICT skills by testing and using new tools.

1.2 Work process Students are divided in five teams and they create transnational groups. Each group investigates a different aspect of BIKE. Group A: Use of BIKE in each country throughout History, Group B: Research on Bike habits, Group C: Bike according to Legislation, Group D: Bike involved in Entrepreneurship, Group E: Bike in Art. On a regular basis, students will have to take part in communication activities in order to exchange information about their findings and design common activities. The language used for communication is English, whereas the age range of the students is from 15 to 17 years old.

1.3 Expected results By the end of BIKE Project, students will have realized not only the importance of having a Kinetic lifestyle, but also the use of BIKE as an increasingly powerful method for reducing carbon emissions, promoting sustainability and developing entrepreneurship. By the end of the project, students will be able to communicate in English in real-life situations as they'll have practiced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills during the whole school year. They will also learn much more about European countries and they will develop openness, sensitivity and tolerance to a broad diversity of cultures. They will discover the things that

they have in common and, hopefully, they'll have new friends. Our eTwinning project could end up to an Erasmus+ related project. The results of the project of BIKE (Being an Innovative Kinetic European) will be presented in an ebook.

13.1 Commenting on the results For the vast majority of the students from all three countries, was the first time they ever participated in an Etwinning project. Almost all were satisfied with the project and discovered for themselves that project-based learning is a more effective teaching method comparing to traditional teaching. Moreover, most of them enjoyed this process of learning. According to their opinion the project was well-structured and well-organized leading to a clear understanding of their role in the team and the tasks to perform. Students believe there is a noticeable improvement both in their linguistic and ICT skills. Most of them also feel confident that many of their 21st century skills (teamwork, communication, public speech, critical thinking, problem solving) were significantly improved. Furthermore, working in an intercultural environment projects the impression of soft skills improvement. They feel eager to participating to a next eTwinning project.
