El Mashiriqu´l Adhkar es el verdadero nombre de los templos o casas de adoración bahá`ís. Un término que significa “el punto del amanecer de la alabanza a Dios” y pertenecen a la Fe bahá`í, una confesión religiosa mundial que cree en la unidad de Dios, de la religión y de la humanidad. ¿Qué pueden tener en común un edificio construido en plena selva africana y otro que se levanta en la periferia industrial de Frankfurt? ¿Qué misterioso nexo puede existir entre la elegante Casa de Adoración de Chicago construida hace más de 60 años y la de Nueva Delhi diseñada en forma de loto en los años 80?. Manteniendo cada uno su propia identidad, integrados totalmente en el medio ambiente y en la cultura que se asientan, son las catedrales del nuevo milenio: amplias, llenas de luz, sin imágenes ni apegos al pasado y abiertas a todas las culturas. Son construcciones destinadas a ofrecer inspiración para una nueva civilización que pugna por nacer, una civilización mundial basada en la unidad en la diversidad de todos los pueblos y naciones del mundo. Son más que edificios, instituciones abiertas a todas las personas del planeta sin consideración de raza, cultura o religión.

Nace en Córdoba el 14 de noviembre de 1960. Comenzó su andadura como periodista gráfico en 1981 en La Voz de Córdoba, ha sido corresponsal de El País y ha publicado en prácticamente todos los medios de comunicación españoles y en algunos extranjeros, en la actualidad es Jefe de fotografía de Diario Córdoba. Ha realizado más de 50 exposiciones en España, Alemania, Albania, Brasil, Chile, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Panamá, Reino Unido y Rusia. Entre los premios recibidos destacan: “Europeam Newspaper Awars” a la mejor página de diseño de fotografía en 2005, “Premio Meridiana” (Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer) en 2002, Nominación al Premio Internacional de Fotografía Romeo Martínez en 1998, “Premio Andalucía de Periodismo” en 1995, “Premio Periodístico Ciudad de Córdoba” en 1993, “Premio Adalid de Periodismo” en 1985. Su trabajo ha sido objeto de publicación en numerosas obras editoriales españolas y de Israel. Sus viajes por 30 países de los cinco continentes han dado como resultado 5 libros de autor: “Arquitecto de Unidad” Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía (CAF), 2001 - “Mujeres del mundo, retratos del alma” Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer (IAM) y Arca Editorial 2003, “El Camino del Sol” Ministerio de Cultura de España 2005, “La Reina del Carmelo” Arca Editorial 2006, “Córdoba Espacio Urbano, Unidad y Diversidad” Instituto Cervantes de Moscú.

Mashiriqu'l Adhkar is the real name of the temples or houses of adoration bahá`ís. A term that means " the point of dawn of the praise to God " and belongs to the Faith bahá`í, a religious world that believes in the unity of God, religion and humanity. What can a building constructed in the African jungle and another one built in the industrial outskirts of Frankfurt have in common? What mysterious link exists between the elegant House of Adoration of Chicago constructed more than 60 years ago and that of New Delhi designed in the shape of a lotus in the 80s ?. Maintaining each one its own identity, totally integrated in the environment and in the culture that they uphold, they are the cathedrals of the new millennium: wide, full of light, without images or attachments to the past and open to all the cultures. They are constructions destined to offer inspiration for a new civilization that fights to be born, a world civilization based on the unity in the diversity of all the people and nations of the world. They are more than buildings , institutions opened to all the people of the planet without consideration of race, culture or religion.

Francisco Gonzalez Perez. Photographer. Córdoba 14 November , 1960. He began his career as photo journalist in 1981 in “La Voz de Córdoba”, he has been a correspondent of “El País” and has published in practically all the Spanish mass media and in some foreigner newspapers too. At present he is the head of photography of “El Diario de Córdoba”. He has held more than 50 exhibitions in Spain, Germany, Albania, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, The United States, Panama, United Kingdom and Russia. Among his most outstanding prizes are: “The European Newspaper Awards” to the best page of photography design 2005, “Meridiana Award” (Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer) in 2002, Nomination to the International Award of Photography “Romeo Martínez” in 1998, 1st prize Andalusia of Journalism in 1995, Journalistic Award “City of Córdoba” in 1993, “Adalid” award of Journalism in 1985. His work has been published in numerous Spanish and Israely publications. His has traveled to over 30 countries and has published 5 books: " Architect of Unity " Andalusian Center of the Photography (CAF), 2001 - " Women of the world, portraits of the soul " Andalusian Institute of Weman (IAM) and Publishing Ark 2003, " The Way of the Sun " Department of Culture of Spain 2005, " The Queen of the Carmelo " Publishing Ark 2006, " Córdoba, Its Urban Spread, Unity and Diversity " Institute Cervantes of Moscow.
