2009 (Sophomore): Moving corners in the outfield and taking over as Pacific’s starter in right field, Pierce was one of just two players on the Tigers’ roster to play in all 52 games throughout the year. Additionally, the sophomore started 50 games for Pacific, marking the second-highest total on the team in 2009. At the plate, Lindsey continued her steady play as she finished the season batting .277, posting 38 hits in 137 at bats. Throughout the year, Lindsey had nine mutli-hit games, tying for fourth on the team. Additionally, Pierce worked a team-high 18 walks throughout the year to give her a .359 on-base percentage. On the bases, Lindsey went 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts while tallying 15 runs for the Tigers. 2008 (Freshman): Manning left field for the Tigers in her first season of work, Pierce recorded an all-conference caliber season offensively, closing out the year with a .265 batting average after struggling early in the season then concluding the year with Second Team All-Big West honors. Tagged as both the team’s leadoff hitter and its No. 9 hitter, Pierce positioned herself to score with 45 hits on the year, third most among the Tigers. Of her 45 hits, Pierce collected three extra-base hits including one double and a team-high two triples. From Mar. 21 to April 3, Lindsey went on a six-game hitting streak, the third best on the roster. When on base, Pierce scored 28 runs in her inaugural season, fourth best on the team. Additionally, Pierce knocked in five runs and stole five bases for the Tigers.

High School: Lindsey is a 2007 graduate of Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, Calif. A four-year starter for the Scorpions, Lindsey capped off her high school career by leading Camarillo to a 28-2 record in 2007 and a state and national ranking of No. 2. As a senior, Pierce and her Camarillo teammates did what no other team could do in 2007, defeat the No. 1 ranked Valencia Vikings, handing current teammate Nicole Matson her only loss of the season in 2007. At the plate in 2007, Pierce led the Pacific View League in hitting with a .539 batting average, knocking out 41 hits on the year despite suffering a hand injury in mid-April while sliding into second base. In addition to hits, Lindsey produced 21 RBI while knocking out five doubles, one triple and two homeruns on the season. Pierce led the team on the base paths as well with 10 stolen bases in 11 attempts. For her play, Lindsey was named first team all-league for the third consecutive season. As a both a junior and sophomore, Pierce was named the league’s Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league in hitting. Off the field, Lindsey was named a scholar athlete in each of her four years. Personal: Lindsey Pierce was born in Beverly Hills, Calif. She is the daughter of Mark and Stacey Pierce. She has one brother, Adam. In her third year at Pacific, Lindsey is an education major.
