About the conference: The PA Breast Cancer Coalition Conference is a unique event devoted exclusively to breast cancer awareness and education. This premier conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn about cutting edge research and developments in breast cancer detection, care and treatment.
Who attends? Each year, nearly 1,000 people participate in the PBCC’s Conference. Attendees include: • Breast cancer patients and survivors • Caregivers including partners, family and friends • Health care professionals • Community and corporate leaders • Lawmakers and advocates
Why Sponsor? Today, 32 women in Pennsylvania will be diagnosed with breast cancer – YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in Pennsylvania in women between the ages of 25 and 54. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. The PBCC touches over 1 million people each year through our outreach, publications and events. $0.87 of every dollar donated to the PBCC goes directly to educational programming, advocacy and research. Education, early detection initiatives, legislative advocacy and funding for basic research are keys to finding not only the cure for breast cancer, but the cause of it. YOUR sponsorship helps provide affordable quality breast cancer education, fosters an atmosphere of support for survivors, allows us to continue our statewide programs and services including an on-staff patient advocate and much more!
