- Welcome to this evening’s Region XII District 11 quarterfinal game between your Owens Express men’s basketball team and the visiting Clark State Eagles. - The winner of tonight’s quarterfinal advances to face No. 2 seed Cuyahoga Community College in a semifinal on Friday at 8 p.m. The semifinals and finals are being hosted by Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio. - For a complete bracket and preview of this week’s tournament, which will decide the OCCAC’s bid to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Danville, Ill. March 21-25, visit www.occac.org. - Clark State, the tournament’s No. 6 seed, enters tonight’s game with a 1-24 record, although they nearly upset Owens on Jan. 25 before falling 67-57. Owens defeated them 87-52 at home on Jan. 21 behind 21 points from Rico Stafford. - Owens, meanwhile, enters today’s game at 22-8 overall. They are looking to improve upon last season’s postseason finish in which they lost to Cuyahoga in a quarterfinal game at home.
