Showtime’s 'Shameless' has been generating buzz ever since the drama’s freshman season back in 2011. He’s about to do it again, but this time, playing the one thing bound to get teen girls hyperventilating –A vampire. A Dhampir to be exact as he puts it. “Dhampir’s are half human, and half vampire,” he says of his Vampire Academy character Mason Ashford. He’s been cooped up in London filming the on-screen adaptation of the film for the last couple of months. And with 'Heathers' writer, Daniel Waters, and 'Mean Girls' director Mark Waters in charge, the film is destined for Cult Classic greatness. “I’d never been to London before, it was pretty incredible.”

“A lot of people complained to me about the food saying it’s a beautiful place, but the food isn’t great. I completely disagree. However, I’m glad to be back in LA for some Mexican food. They don’t have it like we do. We have tex-mex, which is the best thing in the world,” he says. “You also can’t beat LA sushi. I did actually really enjoy eating an English breakfast every morning; Eggs, beans, sausage, toast, and tea. I started really drinking tea once I got there. Everyone drinks tea in London."
