Student Athlete Alumni Panel Four Otterbein athletic alumni participated in the first-ever Student Athlete and Alumni Networking Event on Jan. 30, sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). “This event was the perfect opportunity for us as student-athletes to learn from successful professionals who were once in our shoes,” SAAC President Dominic Porretta ’13 said. Health Sport Sciences Alumni Ten clinical site preceptors from the Otterbein Athletic Training program returned to campus Jan. 17 for a training session. The preceptors are an integral part of the Department of Health and Sport Sciences, as their involvement allows Otterbein students to gain real-world experience in an athletic training work setting.
