COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

In my first year as dean of the college, I’m pleased to present the 2015 Annual Report for The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. The past year has been an exciting and a transformative one for the college and the Veterinary Medical Center. We’ve seen an exponential growth of our activities and accomplishments, with students, faculty and staff at the core of changes that are building momentum for the future. We’re also leading the way in preparing future veterinarians for our increasingly global world. As we begin 2016, our vision is that the College of Veterinary Medicine will be recognized as the nation’s best veterinary and comparative learning community where our students are prepared for careers of excellence, our faculty and staff work collaboratively to further veterinary medicine and solve problems of significance, and our alumni become the next generation of global leaders. I believe the future of our beloved college is very bright. I invite you to partner with us as we: • Prepare our students to be career-ready to face the emerging challenges in veterinary medicine; • Combine state-of-the-art medicine and patient care with advances in clinical discovery; • Transform animal and human health through innovative and collaborative research; and • Provide a learning environment that promotes inclusive diversity and provides opportunities for life-long learning. These are exciting times at the College of Veterinary Medicine, and I look forward to working with you and our other partners. I encourage you to visit us at vet.osu.edu to learn more. Thank you for your support. Sincerely,

Rustin M. Moore, DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVS Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine Ruth Stanton Chair in Veterinary Medicine
