FOWLER
Associate AD/Senior Woman Administrator | 28th Season
Rhonda Fowler, currently the associate athletic director for business and senior woman administrator, has served the Oral Roberts University athletic department for more than 25 years.
As the senior woman administrator, Fowler is the highest-ranking woman in the Golden Eagle Athletic Department, and she ensures the representation of female student-athlete interests on the campus of ORU, in the Southland Conference and on the national level.
Fowler served as the manager of the ORU athletic ticket office from 1974-86, then returned to the University in September of 1997 as athletic business administrator. In between, she worked in the corporate sector as a certified legal analyst. In January of 2000, Fowler was promoted to her current position. In the role, Fowler is responsible for all athletic personnel budgets and financial matters, including arranging team travel for each sport.

HIGGINS

Scott Higgins joined the ORU athletic department in February of 2000 after a three-year stint as a sports anchor for KOTV, Channel 6. At ORU, Higgins oversees the athletic department’s marketing efforts, which include ticket sales, advertising, radio and television packages, game operations and sponsorships. As part of his duties, Higgins also hosts the ORU Sports Report television show, which airs weekly on KGEB Channel 53 in Tulsa and around the world on ORU’s digital media platforms.
A longtime Tulsa resident, Higgins graduated from Jenks High School in 1983 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film – News and Public Affairs. Higgins anchored sportscasts in Joplin, Mo., and Las Vegas before returning to Tulsa in 1997. Higgins married the former Dawn Burmaster in 1987. They live in Tulsa and have three sons, Troy, Sean and Ryan.
Higgins is the Southland Conference representative for the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators and is a member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa.
