2005 CHATTANOOGA REGIONAL

March 19, 2005 Dallas, Texas

TEXAS 64 ORAL ROBERTS 47 DALLAS, Texas - Oral Roberts played No. 3 seed Texas to within a point in the second half, but a 16-point halftime deficit was too much to overcome in a 64-47 loss. Elisha Turek led all players with 21 points, while Nina Norman scored 20 points to lead Texas. Texas took control of the game by opening on an 8-1 run, and they ended the first half on a 13-4 run to build a 34-18 advantage. ORU shot 52.2% in the second half to stay within striking distance of the Longhorns. A three-pointer by Turek with 13:48 to play cut the gap to 41-30, the closest ORU got in the second period of play.
