COACH SIROLA ON FREDEEN: “Tatum is the best jumper on our team, and I expect her to do a great job hitting around the block this season. She’s continuing to improve her all-around skill set, and I think she will be a key part of our passing and defense this season. She’s also developed a great jump serve in the offseason, and I expect her to contribute plenty of service aces.”

2011 • JUNIOR

both Southern Utah (10/10) and Oakland (10/23)... Closed out the season with 34 total kills in a three-match stretch against South Dakota State, North Dakota State and Centenary.

• Quality Inn & Suites Invitational All-Tournament Team selection Played in 90 games for the Golden Eagles in her junior season... Finished with 211 kills, 63 digs and 29 total blocks... Led ORU in kills in five matches... Smashed a career-high 21 kills in a win over Winthrop (9/3)... Earned an All-Tournament nod at the Quality Inn & Suites Invitational on the strength of a 19-kill effort against McNeese State (9/10)... Led ORU with 18 kills in the Summit League Championship semifinal victory over IPFW (11/18)... Set a career-high with four total blocks against Oklahoma (8/27).

HIGH SCHOOL Helped lead Bentonville High School to back-to-back 7A state titles in 2007 and 2008... Named All-State and All-Conference as a junior and senior... Posted 381 kills and 94 aces in her final season.

Native of Fayetteville, Ark... Daughter of Doug and Charlotte Fredeen... Health & Exercise Science major at ORU.

Competed in 87 games for ORU while leading the team and ranking 10th in the Summit League with 234 kills on 633 attempts... Also led the team with a stellar 2.69 kills-per-set average... Chipped in a 17 service aces to go with 78 digs and 18 combined blocks... Logged 12 matches with double-digit kills, highlighted by tying a career-best 20 kills against IPFW (10/24)... Also turned in a season-best .526 hitting percentage on an economical 13 kills on 19 attempts in the conference opener against IUPUI (9/10).

2009 • FRESHMAN Ranked third on the squad with 169 kills (2.56 per game)... Posted all 14 service aces in Summit League play, which led the team in conference action...
