2012-13 ORU Men’s Basketball Fact Book 2009-10 (Freshman) Enjoyed one of the best freshman seasons in ORU history ... averaged 12.8 points while playing in 32 games (18 starts) ... started the season’s final 16 games ... also averaged 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game ... his season scoring average is the eighth-best by a freshman in ORU history ... named to the Summit League’s All-Newcomer team ... also earned a spot on the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Freshman All-America team ... scored a Summit League season-high and ORU freshman record 39 points in an overtime loss at IUPUI ... scored in double figures 23 times, including the final 11 games and 15 of the last 16 ... averaged 13.5 points in two Summit League Tournament games (14 vs. North Dakota State, 13 vs. IUPUI) ... scored game-winning basket against IUPUI with 8.7 seconds left; scored 12 points in the game ... named Summit League Player of the Week twice (Jan. 19, Feb. 8) becoming the first freshman to win multiple player of the week awards since ORU’s Caleb Green and Ken Tutt both did in 2003-04 ... scored a game-high 30 points at Oakland with 10 points coming in the final 2:28, including the game-tying layup with 14 seconds left ... scored a school freshman record 39 points in overtime loss at IUPUI ... made first career start against Sam Houston State, and responded with 12 points ... averaged 13.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in Summit League play.

At New Creations Christian Played one season at New Creations Christian in Richmond, Ind. ... coached by Tony Cole ... helped lead New Creations to a 48-8 record and its second straight National Christian Schools Athletic Association title ... averaged 23.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game ... shot 52 percent from the field, 39 percent from 3-point range and 84 percent from the free throw line ... named MVP at the NCSAA championships, the John A. Logan College Classic, and the Guy Vetrie Memorial Tournament. High School 2008 graduate of Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati ... averaged 15.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game ... earned All-Ohio honorable mention honors from the Cincinnati Enquirer ... shot 56.5 percent from the field as a senior, including 37.3 percent from 3-point range.
