BIG CHANGES A HEAD FOR PLANET EARTH NASA has said that in 2100 the climate will change andit will affect to half of the plant species on Earth. The researchers used a model of computer to help to predict the changes to flora since the temperature goes up of the world because of gases produced by humans. Most of the Earth that’s not covered by ice or desert is expected to experience changes. They found many plants species that will find it hard to survive and others will have to move to different areas to find to be satisfied. It’s not just plant life that would be affected. The supply of food, water and energy would change, so humans and animals would have to adapt how and where to live. Jon Bergengren, a scientist who led the study, said: “For more than 25 years, scientists have warned of the dangers of human-induced climate change.”

Today we are going to give information and different ideas to enjoy your free time. After these ideas we are going to tell you about free time of Juan Orobiogoitia students.
Most of the people spend their free time using electric gadgets like TV ,computer, play station‌Another possibility to spend the time is going to extra school activities:English classes, basketball, horse riding, karate‌
Apart of this activities we are going to present you more estrange and original activities to spend your free time:
Fishing is a activity that consist to catching a fish. Fishing is a very good activity to spend your free time because you are in nature and also because you study a little bit about aquatic animals. In the rivers of Durangaldea is possible to fish and you can find different fish and Crustaceans. I like fishing and I hope to you practice this sport too.
Other activities that you can do in your free time are circus activities. In these activities you can learn acrobatics jumps and other attractive exercises. There are many circus in Spain and some of them come to the Basque country. If you want to practise this activity be on alert because the classes are only for one month.
Also climbing is a good activity . You can climb in artificial rocks that you can find in sport centres or in the rocks of the mountains. You fortalice your feet and arms with this sport . This sport can be practised in the Gaztetxe of Otxandio and also in Zaldibar Z.A.P.
There are more and more activities like the ones that we said (theatre, judo…)
The students of Juan Orobiogoitia,in their free time , use the computer to talk with their friends on pages like tuenti, face book, twitter….But other students do sport like football, basketball… and also meet their friends at the weekend. Few students read in their free time and most of the students go to extra classes like English, biography, maths…
As a conclusion, we advice you to practise any sport or any other activity a part of playing computer games.

INTERVIEW TO MIREN CAMPO Miren Campo is a teacher in Juan Orobiogoitia high school, our mathematics teacher. This is her last year working as a teacher. Through these questions we want to know her life in this school. How many years are you working in this school? 15 years Will you work in another job after that? No, my intention is to finish the school year and then retired, but I’m not very secure to retired. Do you like your actual job? Yes,after 34 years of teaching I’m very satisfied. Did you have, apart of teaching, any other responsibility in this school? I had some another occupations, head of studies, head of maths department and tutor for many years. In your childhood, did you think to become a teacher? In my childhood may be not, but after, when I was 14 years old yes. Even though I worked for 8 years in an office while learning how to teach. In your childhood, did you like mathematics? Yes, it was always my favourite subject. Have you got any children? Yes, two children, 32 and 28 years old. Did you explain mathematics to your children? I was a maths teacher in primary school, it seems strange now, but I was mother and teacher at the same time. What do you do in your free time? Enjoy life, my family, town and enjoy its surroundings. Are you sad because you are leaving your job? No, because it is another stage in my life, and it opens a new one. To finish, through these questions we know a little bit more about Miren’s life .

“Hizkuntza Normalkuntza” is a group of students and teachers that promote the use of the Basque language. Every month, they meet in a room of Juan Orobiogoitia to plan activities, organise competitions ,the “Basque week” and any other ideas that they get from students. They have a Basque corner to give information about their plans to the rest of the school members .

Agenda 21 opened the “txoko berdea” at the entrance of the school on the right. What can we find here? We can see students ideas, works, news, how to become an excellent green school. There are different boxes to recycle: pens, batteries, and cartridges. There is information about Confint Congress in Vitoria– Gazteiz where two students of 1st DBH (Emma Villena and Iker Blanco) took part with other students from schools in Spain. They chose as main message the 5 Rs.”Reflect on– Refuse-Reuse-Reduce-Recycle”. It is also the Agenda 21 plan for this school year.
