#10 BETHANY BAIR Redshirt Senior • Outside Hitter • 6-0 West Haven, Utah • Weber State/Fremont HS After sitting out the 2012 fall season and taking classes at Oregon, the Weber State transfer will add experience in 2013 for the returning NCAA and Pac-12 runners-up who graduated two senior starters at outside hitter (National Player of the Year Alaina Bergsma and Katherine Fischer). For the Wildcats, the two-time All-Big Sky honorable mention outside hitter ranked top three in the league as a junior in 2011 in aces, points and kills, and sixth in the latter two categories as a sophomore in 2010. Racked up 20 kills in five matches combined as a sophomore and junior, and led the team in kills, points, and aces in both campaigns.

BEFORE OREGON (At Weber State 2010-11): As a junior, the repeat All-Big Sky honorable mention pick led the team in kills (347, 3.40 per set), aces (31, 0.30 per set), digs (229, 2.25 per set) and points (404.5, 3.97 per set). Also ranked top 10 in the Big Sky Conference in service aces (second, 0.30 per set), points (second, 3.97 per set) and kills (third, 3.40 per set). She ranked second in the league for kills in a match (26 vs. Utah State) - two shy of the league season high - and her 22 kills in five-setter vs. Montana State tied for seventh-most in 2011. Among her 19 matches with double-digit kills totals, she had three with more than 20-kills with the other in a four-setter vs. Utah State (20). Ended with six double-doubles on season, with her totals vs. BYU-Hawaii (5S - 17K, 10D), Utah State (5S - 26K, 11D), Utah Valley (18K, 12 D), NAU (16K, 26D) and at Montana (12K, 10D). Her other season highs follow: .375 hitting (4s, vs. Southern Utah, 20K-5E-40A), 28.5 points (5s, vs. Utah State), 26 digs (5S, Northern Arizona), 4 aces vs. Utah Valley (5s), 4 blocks (four times), 2 assists (twice). 2010 (at Weber State): As a sophomore, the honorable mention All-Big Sky selection topped the team and conference in service aces (40). Logged double-digit kills figures in 23 of 31 matches, including a season high of 21 in five sets vs. Montana State. Added 11 digs in that match - one of five double-doubles on season with others against NAU (14S - 6K, 11D), EWU (5S - 15K, 16D) and Sacramento State (5S - 18K, season high 22D) and Wofford (10K, 11D). Twice topped .300 - at Utah State (3S - .314, 15K, 8D) and vs. Utah (3S - 12K, .333). Logged season-high five aces in four-setter vs. Northern Colorado - third-most on the season in the Big Sky - and added 15 kills. Also had four aces vs. Eastern Washington both on road and at home in five-setters. Also had four more matches with three aces. 2009 (at Weber State): As a frosh, played in 26 of 29 matches, and stood second among newcomers in block assists (32). Twice logged a season high 11 kills in back-to-back four- and five-set matches en route to 12.5 points at Northern Arizona and vs. Portland State (and hit .429 in the latter tilt). Her season high in digs (4) came in four-setter vs. UTSA and in three sets at Idaho State. Her blocks season high (6) came in two sets vs. Seattle. Twice logged one ace in a match. Her season high in hitting came vs. Portland State (5s, .429, 11K-2E-21A). PREP: The three-time all-state selection was also a two-time all-region first-team choice. Was honored as the all-around player of the year, and helped Fremont High School place third in the state championships. In club, played for the Blaze team and Club Extreme that were coached by Kolbie Murphey and Al Givens, respectively. PERSONAL: Majored in Child and Family Studies at Weber State. In June of 2012, married Duck football player Stetzon Bair. Her parents are Darrin and Stephanie, and she has seven siblings - Arrin, Kaisha, Nick, Whitney, Ariana, Kyla and Brielle.
