basketball team after an injury to starting forward Amanda Johnson. Ultimately started eight basketball games and played 21, and averaged 5.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 23.8 minutes a game as a forward. Her season scoring high (16 points) came against USC in late January only a month after she joined the team. In spring, joined softball team in mid-April after the team’s back-up catcher, suffered a season-ending knee injury. Brenner proceeded to play the next day in both games in the doubleheader sweep of Portland State and walked twice, and scored twice in her six at-bats. Ended with three walks and two runs among her 10 at-bats.

High School The state’s first repeat volleyball player of the year since 2003-04 (and a three-time all-state first-team choice), Brenner led her Jesuit squad to state runner-up honors as a junior and senior (and 17-1 and 15-1 marks), and a win her sophomore campiagn (and perfect 19-0 record). As a freshman, she was a second-team all-league volleyball pick, and her team took fourth in the state tourney, to go along with league titles all four seasons. In winter of 2010-11, was named the 6A state basketball player of the year after she led her team to the state title, thanks to her 17 points and 11 rebounds in a 42-39 in the championship game win over No. 1 Clackamas. As a senior, she sported career-best averages in scoring (15.9) and rebounds (8.9) and shot 56 percent from the field and 72 percent on free throws for the Crusaders (27-1). As a junior, her basketball squad took second in the state tourney, and she was an all-state second-team choice. At end of the 2009-10 season, she added Oregon Prep Athlete of the Year laurels after she picked up first-team all-state honors in the javelin and shot put with her first- and second-place finishes (43-2.25 / 146-6). Won second state shot put crown as a senior (45-4.75). Club-wise on the volleyball hardwood, she has played for the Nike Northwest Juniors Air Elite team (2009-) that placed fifth in the 2011 AAU national tournament, and Multnomah Athletic Club (2003-08). Also is a multiple raquetball world champion. Personal: Sport Marketing major. Parents are Douglas and Jennifer and has one older sister Mary Claire who was an outfielder for the Oregon State softball team (2009-12). Both of her parents were collegiate swimmers at Montana (dad) and the College of St. Catherine (mom).
