Rania Arwani, Attorney

RANIA ARWANI is a mother, wife, family law attorney, business owner, women’s rights advocate, philanthropist and author. Her personal and professional life is grounded in her passion to serve humanity by ensuring women are empowered in their rights. “It is my life mission to advocate for women --- my business background and law degree are the tools I use to empower our female clients daily,” she says. Rania graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a business degree in finance and originally started working in the field. Through her community service to help other women, she realized she was destined for a career path that would help her lead impactful change in the lives of women. “When I was still in college, I was abused by my former husband. He was prosecuted and my defining moment was when the prosecutor gave her closing statement. That day she gave me a feeling I will never forget, and that day was the day that I decided to change my career path and go to law school. The prosecutor was so much more than a government employee going after a criminal that broke the law. She was a powerful woman providing me with a strong voice when I was unable to provide one for myself. She helped me understand that I deserved a voice. I deserved to be heard. I wanted to let other women know that their voices deserved to be heard as well. I wanted to help give women the same gift she had given me: freedom. back to the sport or activity they love. When

you’re playing an important part in that, it truly is gratifying because you know it impacts their overall health as well,” she explains. Rania acted as a Research Assistant at Barry University School of Law and a Certified Legal Intern for the Children and Families Clinic. At the Children’s and Family Clinic, Rania quickly understood and mastered the dual role required of her in her representation of her of minor client. First, she zealously defended the delinquent children against the allegation of the unlawful behaviors, and, advocated for those children to receive the care, treatment and the guidance to help them in shaping their future. She trained with the Florida Center for Child Welfare to handle a variety of family law matters, including domestic violence, substance abuse and sexual abuse of children. Prior to co-founding Arwani Law Firm Rania was a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County where she gained valuable courtroom experience. Following her passion affords her the privilege to solve her client’s complex legal issues, help families find common ground and reduce conflict and tension as she helps parents co-exist. Her goal is to create a stress-free environment and offer families facing complex legal issues the tools to help them reach a resolution in peace. Her philosophy is to transform people’s attitude when met with the so-called failure of their marriage to an end of a triumph. As the manager of the family law division at the Arwani Law Firm Rania is dedicated to protecting the rights of parents and children. "We will always do everything in our power to make this process as expeditious and stress-free as possible," she adds.

"Success is using my experiences and expertise to help women find their own voice and independence. The more women I can empower, the more successful I feel I am. There is nothing more gratifying or incredible than the emotions you have knowing that you contributed–no matter how large or how small–to helping a woman find her own confidence and self-worth. As long as I am doing that, I know I am successful."
