In Latin, As
extra means “outside” and terra means “earth.”
artists we can often describe our imaginations as
leaving us and visiting places beyond our planet.
Therefore,
we may describe our imaginations as
extraterrestrial.
In
this issue we reflect upon the parts within ourselves
that can seem alien to others, or even ourselves.
We
celebrate them for being something as beatuiful and intriguing as the mysterious of outer space.
