FIRE ESCAPE ROUTE FOR CENTENARY BUILDING

Arrows will show the escape routes throughout the ground and first floor mezzanine of the
Centenary is the name of the university building and is also the 100th anniversary of world war one in 1915. To reflect this i have exploded part of the building and used toy soldiers to show the excape routes throughout the building. There are also granades laid on the floor to show where to exit the building.

THE MODEL: A physical model of the building would be located by each exit. This will be made from five different types of wood and metal and be layered ontop of eachother to create depth and texture to an industrial looking building. This would then be placed on the wall beside all of the eleven exits. There will be a lid clearly labeled “FIRE ESCAPE ROUTE� on the models to make this very clear for the user. These would also be illuminated in the event of loss of power
