Sue and Jeremy Creed grew up in Toronto and were part of some storied local businesses like the elegant Bloor Street store, Creeds. Although Toronto natives, their hearts were in Southern Georgian Bay where for years they spent every weekend and school break enjoying all the area had to offer. In 2018 they decided it was time for their family to permanently relocate. They moved to their home in Meaford where they found the perfect balance of lifestyle and community.

The Creeds wanted to create an opportunity for others to live a similar way of life with the key features of privacy & great views, top ranked schools, shopping and outdoor amenities. Sue and Jeremy purchased a 37-acre property and worked with local Duntroon architect Jim Campbell of Rockside Campbell Design and landscape architect Joel Loblaw, also a Meaford resident. Together they built Walnut Ridge, a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom 4,720 square foot country retreat with escarpment views and direct access to the Bruce Trail system.

The home is a true mix of old and new, with primary living spaces situated within the relocated and restored frame of an historic Timber Barn, originally erected in Glen Morris, ON, c1850, complimented by modern luxury finishes.

“I wanted others to enjoy the benefits that we had discovered since living outside the city” says Sue, and as such the exterior of the home has been fully landscaped and delivers a true oasis complete with in-ground pool, hot tub, wood burning sauna and acres of old growth forest.
