Campground Guidelines

In order to ensure a wonderful experience for all our guests, we ask you to follow a few necessary guidelines provided in this guest guide. • Check-out: 11 am. Sorry, NO pool or campground use is permitted after this time. Credit card will be charged accordingly if not checked out by 11 am. • Quiet hours: 10 pm - 7 am. • Camping rate is based on two people. One camping unit and one vehicle are permitted per site. No tents on RV or cabin sites. No RVs allowed in tent or cabin areas. • Damage – Destruction of any property will be paid for by the responsible party. Management is not responsible for accidents, injuries or loss from any cause. • IMPORTANT – WE ARE ON A SEPTIC SYSTEM, THEREFORE ANY TOILET CHEMICALS OTHER THAN ECO-SAVE OR PURE POWER ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE DUMPED AT YOUR CAMPSITE. IF YOUR RV CONTAINS ANY OTHER BRAND OF CHEMICALS, YOU MUST USE THE DUMP STATION. • Campfires are not permitted in the campground. Charcoal or gas BBQs are okay. • For security and insurance reasons all incoming visitors of registered guests must register in the office before entering the campground. A visitor fee is required if a visitor remains on the grounds. If a visitor fails to check in, the registered guest will be charged accordingly. All visitors must depart by 9 pm. • Picnic tables are not to be taken from other sites. • Pets must be kept on a leash, under control, and attended to at all times. Pet litter must be picked up by owner. No pets are allowed in buildings, pool or playground area. Pets are not to be left unattended. • No clotheslines are permitted in the campground. We have a laundry room available for your use. • Cabins or Lodges – No smoking allowed. No cooking is allowed inside the cabins. No pets are allowed in or at any lodge or two-room cabins. • Swimming Pool— Swimming is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets or glass containers of any kind are prohibited in the pool area at all times. • No RV or car washing on the grounds please. • If at any time a camper’s behavior is destructive or objectionable, they will be escorted off the campground without a refund. This is private property and WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE. Rules subject to change at the owners’ discretion. • Wi-Fi— Select the TengoInternet Network 6319, 6144, or 6143 and click “Connect.” Open your browser (example: Internet Explorer). YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK – Yosemite was one of the first wilderness parks in the United States and is still one of the most beautiful.

CALIFORNIA STATE MINING & MINERAL MUSEUM – “The official mineral collection of California.” See the 13# Fricot “Nugget” of crystallized gold. Admission fee.

MARIPOSA MUSEUM & HISTORY CENTER – The “finest small museum in the West” is open 10 am to 4 pm daily. Admission fee for adults.

MARIPOSA COUNTY COURTHOUSE – Visit the oldest county courthouse in continuous use west of the Rockies.

MARIPOSA’S DOWNTOWN HISTORIC WALKING TOUR – Pick up a tour map at the Visitor Center, the History Center, or at various shops.

MARIPOSA COUNTY JAIL – Taste the seamier side of history: visit the Mariposa County Jail! HISTORIC COULTERVILLE – “Whistling Billy” was the locomotive pulling those ore cars way back when and is now resting under what used to be the hanging tree.

CASTLE AIR MUSEUM – Open daily 9 am to 5 pm, May-Sept and 10 am to 4 pm, Oct-Apr. Admission fee.

SIERRA VISTA NATIONAL SCENIC BYWAY – Let this loop through the Sierra National Forest lead you past some of the most amazing scenery in the country.
