A par-72 course, Cortez offers six sets of tees – from 6,672 from the tips to 5,080 from the forward tees. Granada Golf Course . 501-922-3095 Granada is a par-72, 18-hole championship course and is the most scenic course in the Village. Test your golfing skills from 7,115 yard to 5,014 yards. Isabella Golf Course . 501-922-5505 Isabella is a 27-hole complex featuring three unique nine-hole loops – Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. It’s a favorite among residents and visitors alike. Magellan Golf Course . 501-922-4497 A par-72 layout, Magellan plays shorter than some, but its tricky greens challenge all skill levels from 6,494 yards to 4,877 yards. Ponce de Leon Golf Course . 501-922-4250 Ponce is consistently ranked as one of the best golf courses in the state by Golf Digest and Arkansas Business Journal. GO FISHING: Hot Springs Village lakes are stocked with bass, catfish, bluegill and sunfish by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The fish population is monitored by Game and Fish biologists and supplementary stockings are done as needed. In addition to the HSV specific regulations, all U.S. and Arkansas fishing and boating regulations apply to Hot Springs Village lakes including the requirement of an Arkansas fishing license.

GO SWIMMING: DeSoto Outdoor Pools The DeSoto Pools, located between DeSoto Golf Course and the DeSoto Family Recreation Area, feature three separate water areas for family fun. The pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Special summertime events include Dive-In Movies and Summer Night Swims. The pool area has lounges, umbrella covered tables, shaded areas, a snack bar and a locker room facility with showers. The DeSoto Family Recreation Area has playground equipment, pickleball, basketball and mini golf. PLAY TENNIS: Coronado Tennis Center

The Coronado Tennis Center, named “Tennis Center of the Year” by the Arkansas Tennis Association, is a 13-court complex with ten clay courts and three hard surface courts. The center has United States Professional Tennis Association certified teaching professionals, a pro shop, lounge, pavilion, and it is home to the HSV Tennis Association with over 350 members. Players may choose from a variety of programs from league play to fun social events. League play is offered for all skill levels including mixed leagues, women’s and men’s doubles, USTA Team tennis and junior tennis.

PLAY PICKLEBALL: HSVPickleball.org Hot Springs Village has more than 274 pickleball players, with registration through the Property Owners’ Association. Players participate in open play, leagues, tournaments and other organized events. Games are played at the Family Recreation Area located on DeSoto Boulevard. The outdoor facility includes eight regulation courts with lights for night use. Information and an activity calendar are available online.

GO HIKING, BIKING or RUNNING: With over 26 miles of natural, secluded trails, it’s easy to get back to nature. Our tree-shaded pathways offer the perfect setting to walk your dog, take a quick run or enjoy a bike ride. Stop along the way at trail benches to rest, bird watch or enjoy the moment.

GO LAWN BOWLING: Join the Village Green Bowls Club for a challenging game of lawn bowling. Played on a green, the object of the game is to roll a ball (or bowl) closest to the target ball (called a jack). The shape of the ball (bowl) causes it to travel a curved path, which tests players skills and makes the game exciting.

PLAY BOCCE BALL: HSVBocceClub.com Bocce ball is a fun and easy game to learn relying more on skill and concentration than physical stamina. It is played on a flat surface (similar to a bowling lane) and the object is to get game balls as close as possible to the target ball (pallino). PLAY CARDS: VillageCardClub.org The Village Card Club, founded in 1976, promotes the game of bridge as a stimulating, recreational and social activity. They provide a wide venue of bridge-playing opportunities and have 800 members. For information and times of play, visit their website.

There are no bathroom facilities at the park. A daily rental fee is charged and reservations are required.

MEDICAL SERVICES: Inside the Village proper, there are doctors, physical therapists, optometrists, chiropractors, dentists and more. Additional health services include home health services, home care, hospice, senior apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, ambulance service and medical clinics. In the immediate Hot Springs area, there are two outstanding medical centers. National Park Medical Center, a 166-bed facility, is a community leader in healthcare services complete with 24-hour emergency services, private patient rooms, rehabilitation and home health. The facility also maintains a clinic just outside the Village’s west gate. In addition to the various services and technologies provided at the hospital, NPMC is also home to several Centers of Excellence committed to the latest healthcare advancements and highest level of care. These include the Heart and Vascular Institute, which provides comprehensive cardiovascular care from prevention to rehabilitation; the Family Maternity Center which offers parents a unique delivery experience in luxurious women’s services suites; the Center for Sleep Disorders; and the Breast Center with the very latest in digital mammography and stereotactic breast biopsy technology. NPMC also offers Home Touch Healthcare, Inpatient Rehabilitation,

And, an express care clinic on Highway 7 is just a few minutes outside the HSV west gate. Mercy Health Center also provides home health services, ambulance services and contracts with the Area Agency on Aging to administer the McAuley Center, just north of Hot Springs Village. Outside of the immediate Hot Springs area, there are many other full-service hospitals available to Hot Springs Village residents. Arkansas Surgical Hospital in North Little Rock is an innovative, physician-owned surgical hospital specializing in orthopedic and spine surgery. Other services include comprehensive diagnostic procedures and pain management treatments. Saline Memorial Hospital is a full-service 167-bed facility that has served the Saline County area for more than 55 years. Located in Benton, just 18 miles from Hot Springs Village, SMH serves the community as a comprehensive medical center with a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, orthopedics, otolaryngology and wound care. The Good Samaritan Society of HSV offers a variety of living arrangements for those who want retirement living inside the Village including six luxurious Twin Home apartments, 79 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments – all with patios and covered parking. Greenwood Manor Assisted Living has 25 one-bedroom apartments for seniors in need of assistance in a more independent environment than a traditional nursing home.
