Seven Moral Categories of Enlightened Behavior

The Ten Practices. These are the mental attitudes or practices which further a direct understanding of the working basis of Bodhisattva behavior. 0. Practice of Giving Joy 1. Beneficial Practice 2. Practice of Non-opposition 3. Practice of Indomitability 4. Practice of Non-confusion 5. Practice of Good Manifestation 6. Practice of Non-attachment 7. Practice Difficult to Attain 8. Practice of Good Teaching 9. Practice of Truth

The Ten Dedications. These are the vows and practices that define the tireless and universal selflessness of the Bodhisattva. 0. Dedication of Saving All Sentient Beings Without an Image of Them 1. Indestructible Dedication 2. Dedication Equal to All the Buddhas 3. Dedication Reaching All Places 4. Dedication of Inexhaustible Treasures of Virtue 5. Dedication Causing All Roots of Goodness to Endure 6. Dedication Equally Adapting to All Beings 7. Dedication with Character of True Thusness 8. Unattached Unbound Liberated Dedication 9. Boundless Dedication Equal to the Cosmos

The Ten Stages. These are the stages of attainment that define the fulfillment of the Bodhisattva’s character. 0. Stage of Great Joy 1. Stage of Purity 2. Stage of Refulgence 3. Stage of Blazing 4. Stage of One Difficult to Conquer 5. Stage of Presence 6. Stage of Being Far going 7. Stage of Being Immovable 8. Stage of Good Mind 9. The Ten Concentrations. These are the ten categories of meditative powers or samadhis that inform the accomplisher of the ten stages. 0. Concentration of Universal Light 1. Concentration of Subtle Light 2. Concentration of Successive Journeying to Buddha Lands 3. Concentration of Pure Profound Mind 4. Concentration of Knowledge of the Stores of Adornment of the Past 5. Concentration of the Light of Knowledge 6. Concentration of the Adornments of the Buddha’s of all the Worlds 7. Concentration of the Differentiated Bodies of all Sentient Beings 8. Concentration of Freedom in the Elemental Cosmos 9. Concentration of the Unimpeded Wheel

The Ten Superknowledges. These are the divine powers bestowed on the Bodhisattva due to his/her spiritual exertion and purity of vows. 0. Spiritual Power of Accurate Knowledge of Other’s Minds 1. Superknowledge of Celestial Eye 2. Spiritual Faculty of Knowing Past Lives 3. Power of Knowing the Ages of the Future 4. Unobstructed Pure Celestial Ear 5. Going to Buddha lands while Dwelling in Nonsubstantiality 6. Understanding all language 7. Knowledge of the Countless Form Bodies for the Liberation of All Beings 8. Knowledge of all Phenomena 9. Concentration of the Extinction of All Things

The Ten Acceptances. These define the terms of the Bodhisattva’s behavior while in the third-dimensional world or physical plane. 0. Acceptance of the Voice of Teachings 1. Conformative Acceptance 2. Acceptance of the Non-origination of All Things 3. Acceptance of Illusoriness 4. Acceptance of Being Mirage-like 5. Acceptance of Being Dream-like 6. Acceptance of Being Echo-like 7. Acceptance of Being like a Reflection 8. Acceptance of Being Phantom-like 9. Acceptance of Being Space-like
