The Municipality of Vitacura’s Parque Bicentenario is an ambitious project located along the Mapocho River. PARQUE METROPOLITANO DE SANTIAGO
With its 1784 acres (722 hectares) it is the largest urban park in Chile. It has several recreational areas, including the National Zoo (see page 53), the Botanical Garden and a Japanese Garden.
