Our prenatal classes allow the mother-to-be and her support person to gain essential knowledge of a healthy pregnancy, learn the important practical skills for a positive childbirth experience, and receive valuable information on early care of the newborn. Our childbirth educators work in partnership with health professionals in our communities. Completion of the class should be approximately six weeks before your due date. Subsidy may be available; please ask for details when registering. Prenatal classes are currently being delivered in an online format due to COVID-19 and social distancing. Winery Assistant Certificate Gain the knowledge and skills needed to work alongside the many master winemakers in our region as an assistant winemaker, cellar hand or winery owner. Learn the scientific principles underlying grape and wine production, influences on wine quality, industry terminology, winery equipment operation and maintenance, harvest and crush, sanitation and safety, wine sensory evaluation, and marketing and sales practices.
