It is because of 4-H that I can write a proper thank-you note, know how to give a proper handshake, and can interview for anything with confidence. 4-H has definitely taught me some valuable life skills. Organization and time management are just a few life skills that help me and other members become successful community members which helps change a community for the better.”

“Without the opportunities given to me through the 4-H program, I may have never discovered my love for teaching others. I cannot thank Oklahoma 4-H enough for all these amazing opportunities!”

How can Oklahoma 4-H Change a Community? “Oklahoma 4-H can have one of the greatest impacts on a community no matter the size, region, or background. 4-H members that have grown in this organization have been raised with a better understanding of community involvement, healthy living habits, how to get a job, and how to bring more inclusivity to Oklahoma. I am proud to be a part of Oklahoma 4-H, and I am more than excited to see more young people engage and grow in this organization.”

“As a nine-year 4-H member, I have learned skills and the importance of treating others with respect. The members that join this organization are helping to welcome new members, volunteers and educators with open arms.”

How can Oklahoma 4-H Change a Community? “Oklahoma 4-H has a huge, positive impact on communities across the state and Oklahoma as a whole. Former 4-H members have shared with me that they would not possess the interview skills, leadership qualities, and be the productive citizens they are today without being a 4-H member. Past, present, and future 4-H members will continue to ‘Make the Best Better’ across Oklahoma.”

“My 4-H project experiences have grown into more than I could ever imagine. I met my best friend, competed in numerous contests, and learned so many life skills that help me every day.”
