Economic growth in these countries slowed considerably, the banking sector and stock exchanges are seriously threatened, the unemployment rate has been increased, many people have been marginalized and impoverished, consumption level went down and, the most important, it gave the world public something to feel uncertainty and fear for tomorrow. Despite the fact that since the beginning of the crisis little time had passed, the majority of world religions expressed clearly and definitely their views on such a serious negative phenomenon. The theologians, for the present, had no case for in-depth study of multifaceted factors and conditions caused the contemporary global crisis, but all the same, the preliminary theorizing and concepts as well as earlier studies give us an opportunity for comparison, generalization and making certain conclusions. Systems analysis of religious views on the contemporary global economic crisis reveals that it’s causing factors and conditions, which are represented in different religions by similar or divergent concepts, generally link to such contemporary phenomenon as globalization, which generally means a consolidation of universe. God created the world as an integrated universe. It was the global universe, but it was globalization and unity with God. However, later on, the globalization was developed in two ways: one way was a unity with God, faithfulness and obedience to him; another way was the globalization, i.e. an attempt to unify the universe, but without God.
