By words a man transmits his thoughts to another; By me a ns o f a r t he transmits his feelings, Tolstoy wrote in his evocative essay entitled “What is Art?” If so, we offer a range of emotional expression in the variety of artistic presentations to share this season. To celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day in September, we bring Ballet Folklorico Mexicano; followed by Hans Boepple, Classical Pianist in October, Andrew Lloyd

Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, a post-apocalyptic vision directed by Michael Navarra in November, The Nutcracker in December with dancers from Yoko’s Dance Academy, and two silent comedies accompanied by Organist Jerry Nagano, one in spring and one in fall. Rounding out the season is the improv comedy team ComedySportz, with special guest celeb Mike Inouye from NBC Today in the Bay.

Our guest presentations include StarStruck Theatre returning in January to present Peter Pan. And we gladly welcome the Fremont Symphony Orchestra, celebrating their

, and their special guests Diablo Ballet and the San Francisco Quartet.
