SECTOR’S RESULTS Adopted Amendments to Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 461 and 466, which provide for removing technical communications from the list of construction projects, that will reduce the costs of operators and corruption risks in the amount of 150 million hryvnas per year and improve the business environment by reducing the average term to put base stations into operation by one month Amendments to Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 768, which provide for the mandatory use of rental rates in 18% instead of 40% limiting opportunities for abuse and corruption, increase the number of leased SPF’s facilities by 3-4 times that will increase budget revenues by at least 52 million hryvnas
Proposed Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Health #239 “On approval of State sanitary rules and standards” Increasing the maximum allowable radiation from 2.5 mW / cm2 approved in 1996 up to 10 mW / cm2 will bring Ukraine closer to standards commonly used in the EU and allow to use existing facilities to place the equipment using 3G technologies that will accelerate the network deployment and improve the mobile phone coverage. We analyzed the NCCIR’s decision $456 dated 30/08/2016 regarding the limitation of tariffs for termination of international incoming traffic from mobile operators starting from 01/01/2017 and assessed the potential negative impact of this decision on incomes of operators and contributions to the state budget. The regulator has agreed to assess the results of the regulatory act’s impact and review it if there are negative results at the end of 1st half of 2017
