I am delighted to celebrate each and all of you as the esteemed group chosen to represent Belmont University’s Top 100 Alumni Entrepreneurs for 2023. I want to commend the significant level of investment — both personal and professional — which has enabled you to thrive in the entrepreneurial field. This tremendously talented group of alumni includes graduates from across Belmont’s wide array of academic programs and perfectly represents the entrepreneurial spirit that has become a defining characteristic for the University. This year, the campus is leaning into Strategic Pathway Five which focuses on the power of storytelling to inspire the world. The magnitude of that power is apparent through each person being recognized tonight and your personal and collective stories. Your hard work has made a significant impact on our community and is an inspiration and example to our student entrepreneurs. We’re proud to recognize your accomplishments and contributions. The 2023 Top 100 features alumni from 45 different majors, 42 cities, and 31 new faces on this year’s list. The achievements of our alumni community continue to contribute to the collective growth of Nashville and beyond. This year, we are excited to announce the grand opening of Belmont University’s newest building – the Jack C. Massey Center: the new home of the Thomas F. Cone Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship. The Massey Center provides ample collaboration space, private meeting areas, and an atmosphere primed for ideation and creativity. For the first time in our storied 20-year history of fostering entrepreneurship, we now have a dedicated hub that unites all facets of our program. From exhilarating competitions that inspire creativity to the vibrant gatherings of our Founder’s club, every entrepreneurial endeavor finds its home here.
